Johann Sebastian Bach's musical inspiration was fueled by his Lutheran faith, which motivated him to be the very best he could be. This faith formed the common thread in his work. The Leiden Chamber Choir has picked up that thread. This has produced a surprising variety of musical works. The spring concert was composed of compositions by composers with Lutheran roots, from Bach's beautiful, virtuoso motet Jesu, meine Freude to the vulnerable and moving composition The Deer's Cry By Arvo Pärt.
