Since the reopening of Museum De Lakenhal, it has returned home: the groundbreaking triptych The Last Judgment by Lucas van Leyden. This masterpiece of the Northern Renaissance was the inspiration for the Leiden Chamber Choir's Triptych program: three parts, each with its own character, that together form one whole.
Our musical triptych took you to three stylistic periods and three regions: the Italian Renaissance, British Romanticism and modern Scandinavian choral music. From those three perspectives, Triptych told the story of man in his relationship to love, death and nature.
